Divemaster
This leadership course will teach you how to organize and supervise dive charters and dive trips. The course topics include Boat, shore, night dive organization and supervision, underwater guiding techniques, assisting with openwater training, rescue team leader, and legal aspects of divermastering. This class is presented in six classroom sessions, one pool session, one beach teach, and ten dives. You will also be required to Divemaster two or more dive charters under the supervision of a NAUI leadership instructor. Requires five three hour lectures, a beach teach, a pool session, a boat lecture and ten dives. Prerequisites include Diving Rescue Specialty, First Aid, CPRfpr, and O2 Administration.
Assistant Instructor
If you are on your way to instructor or enjoy being involved with diving education then this leadership course is for you! As an 'AI' you will help teach dive classes from Basic SCUBA diver to Master Diver in the classroom, pool , and open water. This class will teach you how to prepare lecture outlines and deliver organized Scuba lectures as well as SCUBA demos as a NAUI leader and role model. Prerequisites include Diving Rescue Specialty, First Aid, CPRfpr, and O2 Administration.
Scuba Instructor

LEADERSHIP PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS
Age: Minimum is 18 years.
Experience: Specified for each Leadership course.
Required logged dives shall be varied in environment and depth.
Rescue Certification: At a minimum, Scuba Rescue Diver certification is required.
CPRfpr & First Aid Certification: Current certification or verified competency in CPR and First Aid is required for registration. CPR Certification training shall include one person adult CPR, infant/child CPR, two person CPR and the use of rescue breathing barrier devices, e.g. pocket maskĀ®, face shield.
Medical Approval: Verification of good physical condition as documented by a medical examination and unconditional approval for diving by a licensed physician within the preceding 12 months.
Administrative Requirements: Submit a complete course application.
Provide and be responsible for dive gear suitable for open water.
Provide all required texts and materials.
